Assistant Director of Sales - Government Affairs

to join our Commercial Sales team.

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the UAE's luxury hotel sector and a deep understanding of the local government segment. With a vibrant, engaging personality and a results-driven mindset, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining strategic relationships with key government stakeholders, driving revenue and positioning Al Habtoor City Hotels as the premier choice for official and high-level delegations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead government sales strategies for all three properties within the Al Habtoor City cluster. Establish, nurture, and grow long-term relationships with UAE government entities. Identify opportunities within federal and local government sectors and secure high-yield business. Represent the cluster at official events, exhibitions, and key industry platforms. Collaborate with hotel leadership, revenue, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive sales strategies. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and performance data to optimize business outcomes. Ensure full compliance with corporate and legal standards.

Who You Are:

Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in the UAE luxury hospitality industry, with a focus on government segments. Strong portfolio of UAE government contacts and a history of successful partnerships. Fluent in

English and Arabic

(written and spoken). Confident communicator with exceptional presentation and negotiation skills. Energetic, approachable, and passionate about luxury service excellence. In-depth knowledge of the UAE market, preferably already based in Dubai. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
