The American International School - Riyadh is currently seeking applicants for the full-time role of Community Relations Manager. Ideal candidates must be residents of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and holders of a valid Saudi iqama.

Preferred Qualifications
Arabic language proficiency is preferred.

4-year business or education degree, MA preferred;

Superintendent, AIS-R Senior Leadership Team
The Understandings, Responsibilities, Skills, Values, and Mindset of the Community Relations Manager are:
Advance community relations infrastructure and processes;
Build and foster new relationships with partner organizations both locally and outside of KSA.
Cultivate relationships with potential and targeted donors (as aligned with Saudi law)
Oversee the organization of special community events: AIS-R’s 60th anniversary, AIS-R alumni reunion, Intercultural Festival, Family Fun Day, UN Day, SND, TedEx, Back To School Night;
Manage invitations to special events and correspondence with VIPS/donors;
Oversee AIS-R’s social media presence, community engagement, and visibility initiatives
Oversee all fundraising activities (as aligned with Saudi law) including annual giving, capital campaigns, special events, receptions, and projects, planned giving, and other community engagement-related projects;
Coordinate alumni networking activities that promote and facilitate collaboration among AIS-R Alumni
Maintain and manage the AIS-R Foundation website
Coordinate campaign materials, publicity, campaign newsletters, and donor stewardship;
Supervise prospect cultivation and partnerships within the local community;
Coordinate development research, and develop proposals for AIS-R’s foundation and corporations;
Develop and implement a comprehensive community outreach program, provide trustees with solicitation training and support, and attend faculty, alumni, and parent meetings;
Create strategic and tactical plans for all aspects of the community relations program in conjunction with senior leadership and the Board of Trustees.
Management and oversight of all volunteer involvement in the school’s community engagement efforts; set and maintain high-quality standards for the involvement and stewardship;
Assist the PTSO with their fundraising efforts and event coordination as needed;
Assist with AIS-R charity fundraising efforts as requested;
Any other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
Terms of Employment:
Salary will be assigned from the Administrative Salary Schedule (Manager); 210-day contract.
Learning and Growth:
The performance will be evaluated by school policy by the designated supervisor.
