Job Description

We are looking for candidates who have great communication and interpersonal skills, preferably with background in public communications, public relations, community coordination, events management, who is able to deal with clients and vendors in a professional and engaging manner, who is pro-active, strategic-thinker, and creative in leading, organizing, facilitating community outreach events. : Assist the Operations/community managers to assess company activities/ community events alongside Marketing team, to determine effectiveness and potential areas for improvement and identify effectiveness of impact. Identify effectiveness and impact of current outreach campaigns & events with tracking and analysis to optimize campaigns accordingly and update the managers with reports and assessments. Research and contribute to developing plans for improvement or growth of the existing and new campaigns alike by working closely with operations and other core team members of the organization. Assist marketing team in developing, designing and executing community outreach campaigns & events in-line with company's mission & values to achieve any outlined goals, including but not limited to: workshops, in store events, identifying ambassadors, and potential partnerships/collaborations. Listen/understand/communicate/create reports about all existing/potential vendors and liaisons based on feedback from the community and share with operations/community managers. Take instructions from Operations/community managers and develop all related scope of works pertained to vendor consignments; researching potential vendors, establishing communications, ensure a smooth process of evaluating products in collaboration with internal stakeholders, drafting vendor contracts and organizing the first delivery of vendor products at the store, and act as focal point for all vendors and customers serving as a brand ambassador by providing the best hospitality and service where needed. Assist Operations/community manager to develop all related scope of works pertaining to vendor relations; researching potential vendors, establishing communications with previous and new vendors alike, ensure a smooth process of evaluating new products & vendor brands in collaboration with internal stakeholders, organizing the implementation of vendors within the farmers market, and act as focal point for all vendors and customers serving as a brand ambassador by providing the best hospitality and service where needed. Lead outreach initiatives to recruit community volunteers for engagement in various program's campaigns where applicable. Develop relationships with local vendors and businesses, and serve as the company liaison in establishing partnerships and collaborations, Ensure efficient execution of awarded vendor or collaborator's contract. Research, identify and engage with potential partners to obtain a wider range of expertise and business opportunities in a timely and consistent manner; This includes developing and executing concepts, gathering and formatting information and preparing clear communications with the partners or vendors by taking instructions from Operations/community manager. Assist operations/community managers in creating and implementing company events, this includes interaction and coordination with all relevant internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate and act as advocate with marketing/social media stakeholders to analyze and boost performance, in order to ensure a wider reach and better online engagement. Perform various operational & administration tasks/activities, by liaising with relevant operational/functional departments (i.e., Procurement, HR, FN, marketing, etc.), and act as a focal point when needed. Build key & generally amicable relationships with both local and expat cultural groups and communities in Qatar (for example: Vendors, Collaborators, Customers, and others) Requirements: Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, English, fundraising, journalism, or similar Courses in advertising, business administration, public affairs, public speaking, and creative and technical writing can also be helpful Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related writing and presentation software Must be available to join immediately Must have a valid QID / transferable work visa Must be residing / currently located in Qatar With at least 3 years of related experience Job Type: Full-time Application Question(s):
