Community Lead (Web3/DeFi Protocol)

Location

: Remote - US/Europe/Latam/Dubai but must have 5hrs overlap with EST

Compensation

: $130K - $180K

for the crypto economy. We are creating the platform that intelligently reallocates assets across Decentralized Finance (DeFi) protocols to maximize returns. This is a foundational role to build and activate a world-class community that drives adoption and amplifies our mission.


As the Community Lead, you will take full end-to-end ownership of the protocol's community strategy, shaping how users, developers, and advocates engage with the platform. You will be responsible for designing and executing programs that foster engagement, education, and evangelism, serving as the voice of the community internally and the voice of the protocol externally.

The Opportunity:

Strategy Ownership:

Design and execute a comprehensive community strategy from the ground up that drives engagement, education, and evangelism.

Community Building:

Build, manage, and scale online communities across key platforms (e.g., Discord, X, Telegram), cultivating a positive culture and fostering grassroots advocacy.

Content & Events:

Lead the creation of community-focused content initiatives and organize digital and in-person events (e.g., AMAs, workshops, meetups).

Growth & Empowerment:

Grow and empower the next generation of on-chain users, developers, and advocates, translating community feedback into actionable insights for the product team.

Ambassadorship:

Act as a key public-facing representative for the protocol, creating clarity, energy, and momentum within decentralized groups.

Requirements

We are seeking an autonomous, crypto-fluent individual who is obsessed with community-led growth and has a deep passion for decentralized financial infrastructure.

3+ years

of professional experience in

Community Management, Marketing, or Ecosystem

roles within the

crypto or Web3

industry.

Crypto Fluency:

Deep familiarity with crypto culture, the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) landscape, and major ecosystems, including

EVM

(Ethereum Virtual Machine) and

Solana

.

Community Scaling:

Proven success in managing and significantly growing online communities (Discord, X, Telegram), running successful campaigns, and establishing advocate/ambassador programs.

Communication & Execution:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to operate autonomously and create momentum in a fast-paced environment.

Event Experience:

Experience planning and executing digital and physical community events, AMAs, and content initiatives.

$80,000 - $130,000+

annual base salary, depending on experience and location).
