Your mission
This is a temporary freelance role for the above-mentioned duration. Candidates must hold a valid UAE residence visa that permits them to work.

Job location: start in Dubai and closer to/ during the event - Riyadh.
We are seeking a freelance Communications Manager to develop and oversee the strategic messaging for a high-profile corporate event presence in Riyadh.
This role will drive PR planning, manage speaker briefing packs, coordinate with event organisers, and lead all outgoing communications including email campaigns. Working closely with internal stakeholders and senior leadership, this person ensures all messaging is aligned, bold, visionary, and culturally grounded.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Communications Planning

• Develop and manage the overall communications plan for the event.
• Define narratives that align with brand tone: bold but respectful, excited but focused, warm but visionary.
• Translate brand themes into soundbites, captions, speaker notes, and influencer scripts.
• Serve as the main point of contact with event organisers and PR agencies.

Speaker & Media Coordination

• Draft and manage end-to-end speaker briefings, pre-interview information packs, and key messaging guides.
• Manage scheduling and logistics for media interviews and speaking engagements.
• Develop and oversee distribution of information packs for VIPs, speakers, and press.

Email & Digital Communications

• Plan and oversee execution of segmented email campaigns (pre, during, post-event).
• Write or approve all outgoing communications to partners, press, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate content calendars with marketing and digital teams.

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

• Advise leadership on public-facing messaging and talking points.
• Liaise with content creators, translators, and approval stakeholders.
• Ensure consistency across all media, presentations, and internal briefs.
• Supervise and manage the Social Media & Content Manager, providing direction, content approvals, and performance oversight.

Your profile
Location & Commitment

• Must be available full-time with in-person presence for the duration (ASAP - 4 December 2025), with a start in Dubai and then on-site in Riyadh.
• Valid passport, UAE Residence visa and ability to obtain a Saudi entry visa.

Experience

• 5+ years in PR, strategic communications, or media relations.
• Proven ability to lead high-stake event communications.
• Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end communications around major activations or launches.
• Experience liaising with media, business partners, and high-profile speakers.
• Track record of successful media and speaker coordination, ideally in the UAE and KSA.

Skills

• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Strong content writing and editorial skills with an ear for tone and a sense for storytelling.
• Strong organisational and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with Mailchimp or similar tools is a plus.
• Comfortable presenting and briefing senior stakeholders.
