Job Description

The Commis is responsible for assisting in daily kitchen operations, supporting senior chefs in preparing high-quality Arabic and mediterranean dishes, and maintaining hygiene standards in line with food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist in the preparation and cooking of Arabic and mediterranean cuisine. Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen tasks. Wash, cut, and prepare vegetables, meats, and other ingredients. Follow traditional Arabic recipes and presentation standards when required. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and kitchen equipment. Ensure all food items are stored, labeled, and handled properly. Follow HACCP and food safety guidelines. Work as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations, especially during peak hours.

Requirements:



Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Flexible, hardworking, and willing to learn. Team player with respect for cultural diversity.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED1,800.00 per month
