Key Responsibilities:
Follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs
Ensure food is prepared and presented to the highest standards
Support in the preparation of ingredients (washing, peeling, chopping, marinating, etc.)
Maintain a clean and organized workstation in line with hygiene standards
Follow all kitchen safety and sanitation procedures
Assist with inventory, stock rotation, and food storage
Learn and improve culinary techniques specific to Lebanese cuisine
Take direction and feedback positively to improve performance
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
Requirements:
Previous kitchen experience (experience in Lebanese or Middle Eastern cuisine is a strong advantage)
Basic knowledge of cooking methods and kitchen equipment
Willingness to learn and grow in a professional kitchen environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Preferred Skills:
Passion for Lebanese and Middle Eastern food
Familiarity with Lebanese ingredients and cooking techniques
Culinary school certification or equivalent is a plus
Bilingual (Arabic and English) is a plus
