The Commis Chef 3 supports the kitchen team in daily food preparation and production for the KANJI Deliveroo concept. This role focuses on basic prep, consistency, hygiene, and speed to ensure high-quality food delivery standards in a fast-paced cloud kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in
basic food preparation and production
according to KANJI recipes and standards
Perform mise en place duties to support smooth daily operations
Prepare ingredients (cutting, portioning, marinating, labeling) as instructed
Follow
food safety, hygiene (HACCP), and sanitation standards
at all times
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and storage areas
Assist with receiving and proper storage of supplies and ingredients
Minimize waste through correct portioning and stock rotation (FIFO)
Support senior chefs during peak delivery hours
Adhere to company policies, grooming standards, and safety procedures
Requirements & Qualifications
Previous experience as
Commis Chef 3 or Kitchen Assistant
preferred
Basic understanding of kitchen operations
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
Ability to work in a
high-volume, delivery-focused kitchen
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
