We are hiring for Commis 2 for Hot Kitchen and Cold Kitchen for a new Arabic Seafood and Sushi concept Premium Dining Restaurant located at Souk Al Bahar, Dubai Mall. Join us in bringing an exceptional journey combining the freshest Seafood, and Japanese Sushi imported from Japan this Summer! The Commis 2 Chef is responsible to prepare a consistent, high-quality food product, ensuring courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service and Restaurant\'s operational standards. You will be also responsible for assisting CDP and Head Chef in cooking and then ensuring that all stations are clean. - As a Commis 2, you are also expected to comply with the conditions of the food hygiene policies.
- Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control.
- Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques.
- Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu.
- To assist chef de partie in preparing food according to the requirements or recipes or standards, and the specifications for his department.
- To assist chef with chopping, packing and helping/learning with dishes.
- Need to be flexible and willing to help other departments at busy times as and when required.
- Commis 2: 2 years (Required)
- Seafood: 1 year (Preferred)
- Arabic food: 1 year (Preferred)
- English (Preferred)
