Position Overview:
Join our culinary team and be part of a restaurant that takes pride in delivering exceptional food and memorable dining experiences. We are looking for a
skilled and passionate Commis 1 (Hot Kitchen)
to support daily kitchen operations and uphold the highest standards of quality and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of hot dishes according to recipes and brand standards.
Ensure all mise-en-place is prepared accurately and efficiently.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines at all times.
Work closely with the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Contribute ideas for menu improvement and new dish development.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience as Commis 1/2 or similar role in a restaurant or hotel.
Strong knowledge of hot kitchen operations.
Culinary certificate or equivalent qualification preferred.
Passion for food, teamwork, and continuous learning.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
