Prepare, cook, and present high-quality Indian dishes (North Indian, South Indian, or regional specialties as required).
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning.
Prepare marinades, curry bases, gravies, tandoori items, and accompaniments.
Operate and maintain tandoor ovens, grills, and other kitchen equipment safely.
Assist senior chefs in menu development and daily mise en place.
Quality & Hygiene
Follow all food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
Ensure the kitchen area, utensils, and equipment are clean and well maintained.
Properly store food items according to temperature and safety guidelines.
Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and assist in inventory control.
Teamwork & Communication
Coordinate with other sections (hot, cold, tandoor, curry, pastry, etc.) to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Support colleagues during busy service times.
Attend daily briefings and follow instructions from senior chefs.
