The Commercial Specialist will be primarily responsible for managing all contracts being negotiated and entered into. The individual needs to be knowledgeable about the details and potential benefits of any contract, and must fulfil the following duties and responsibilities:
Craft, evaluate, negotiate and execute a wide variety of commercial contracts covering a range of transactions.
Maintain records for correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and those in progress.
Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters.
Monitor contracts and move forward with close-out, extension or renewal.
Solve any contract-related problems that may arise.
To draft and negotiate commercial contracts within specified timelines.
Prepare, manage and coordinate the drafting of the specific commercial terms applicable to each service or project.
To review and amend contracts and supporting documentation within specified timelines.
Manage and control the contract signing process until all signatures have been obtained.
