Our client is a global apparel manufacturer with a strong working with premium brands internationally.

We are recruiting a commercial manager to join their Dubai head office.

Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will be a member of the leadership team who serves as a global primary point of contact for operational issues and is responsible for the seamless execution of business strategies through optimizing strategic planning, process improvement, resource management.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record in optimizing efficiencies, re-engineering processes and developing a continuous improvement and data driven culture in an international complex volume manufacturing and distribution organization.

Role Summary

• Formulate and execute commercial strategies that drive sustainable market share and revenue growth.

• Identify, implement and drive business and customer-centric process improvements in partnership with the country leadership teams to streamline manufacturing, distribution and supply chain operations, to enhance productivity and optimize quality, costs and resources.

• Identify risks and implement action plans to mitigate them, ensuring business continuity and long-term sustainability.

• Develop and implement SOPs and SLAs to drive business and employee performance.

• Work with local market leaders on expansion, new product manufacturing and cost reduction initiatives.

• Drive long-term, systematic process and people continuous improvement capabilities to optimize costs competitiveness, zero defects and on-time delivery.

• Design and implement integrated risk management frameworks; coordinate policy and compliance audits ensuring audits are conducted and recommendations are fully implemented.

• Work with regional leadership to develop, implement and track clear performance metrics and KPIs to make data-driven decisions to achieve continuous improvement and business objectives.

• Contribute to the organization\xe2\x80\x99s global expansion by exploring new markets and opportunities for growth.

• Forecast future operational needs and contributing to revenue forecasts, budgets and CAPEX and resource investments.

• Develop and drive eco-friendly and sustainability initiatives company wide.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 deep expertise in best-in-class manufacturing finance, supply chain, procurement and quality preferably in the textile, garment or apparel industry.

• Demonstrable experience in driving technology optimization - process simplification, standardization, controls, governance and self-service automation.

• Strong commercial and financial acumen to promote a culture of lean manufacturing and quality consciousness to effectively deliver manage costs and resources; identify and mitigate risks and challenges; financial analysis and reporting.

• Demonstrable experience in developing and embedding practical operational transformation for employees to work smarter and achieving and delivering their best.

• Strong value driven coaching, leadership and collaboration capabilities to work at multilevel within different geographical teams and drive a culture of accountability and results through motivating, performance management to develop high-performing teams.

• UAE driving license is mandatory.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Finance is mandatory

• MBA is a strong advantage

• Lean Six Sigma certification is a strong advantage

• PMP certification is a strong advantage

Candidate Profile

• Currently living in the United Arab Emirates \xe2\x80\x93 must be able to live and work in Dubai.

• Fluent in verbal and written English - excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills with the ability to collaborate and influence across all organizational levels, with vendors and 3rd party businesses.
