We collaborate with colleagues around the world who all share our challenge to make the world a safer place. The role We are looking for a Commercial Manager - Contracts to be based in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple job responsibilities, set priorities and to work with cross functional teams. The successful candidate will be part of Saab UAE Commercial Department and participate in business processes, focusing on the structure of the transaction and lead the establishment of supporting agreements in relation to the business transaction. Responsilbites:

• AgreementsDrafting, Evaluation and Negotiation:

• Non Disclosure Agreements, Sales / Purchasing Agreements, Sub-contracts, Consulting Agreements, Licensing Agreements, Master Agreements, review of customer proposed terms and conditions
• Distribution Agreements (resellers, agents, joint marketing etc.)
• Commercial and Public (Federal, State and Local Municipalities ) Contracting
• Support the continuous development of procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company commercial policy.
• Work with Finance to coordinate contractual insurance requirements.
• Work with Finance to ensure adherence to broader finance and risk requirements such as revenue recognition, pricing and discounting policies, export controls etc. Include financial engineering and understanding / evaluating economic impact of terms and term options.
• Review of the commercial elements of the contract.
• Perform internal consultations on the commercial aspects of ongoing contracts.
• Participate in bid and proposal preparation, with responsibility for the contractual terms and conditions to be included in our proposals.
• Be prepared leading and coordinating efforts between domestic and relevant business units worldwide within the Saab Group in relation to our local business opportunities

Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor in Law or equivalent merits/experience
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant work experience of commercial contracts management in an international business environment
• Relevant work experience in UAE
• Strong communicator with developed cultural awareness
• Experience from working with offer calculations and pricing
