Support the Head of Collection in the preparation of Collection strategies, policies and procedures. Manage defaulting facilities with customers through a constructive dialogue with them. Manage remedial efforts related to defaulting facilities including negotiating, restructuring and rescheduling arrangements with defaulting borrowers. Adhere to adopted strategies and policies to manage exposure to bad or doubtful loans in order to minimize loss and maximize timely recovery Contact directly with the non-performing customers (defaulting customers) for the settlement of their dues. Review Call Visit memos and share it with Head of Collection for review. Ensure that all legal cases filed against non-performing customers are managed at all stages including foreclosure on pledged assets. Review proposal for ICC in case of any legal action to be taken regarding potential problematic cases/ slow paying accounts and forward it to Head of Collections for review Comply with prevailing Bank rules and regulations with respect to managing defaulting customers, classifying them and calculating the necessary specific provisions. Review the doubtful and bad debt classification memos prepared by the Collection Officer. Liaise with the Credit Administrative Senior Officer regarding all the information related to the Life death Claims of the respective customer and ensure that the Insurance company pays the claim. Assist in preparing weekly/ monthly progress reports on all collections from customers and due payment conditions for NPL Committee Any other task assigned by the direct manager.
