Key Responsibilities

• Follow up on allocated overdue accounts and achieve assigned monthly resolution targets
• Conduct detailed case reviews, considering long-tenure customer relationships and prior interactions
• Review full account history, including previous remedial or legal actions and current status, before customer contact
• Review rental products where applicable, including BSA and TCR for rental status
• Engage customers in compliance with CPR to understand reasons for delinquency and agree on repayment options
• Meet individual efficiency and productivity targets on a monthly basis
• Collect, document, and update detailed customer information in the collections system for audit trails
• Ensure all collection activities are conducted within the code of conduct and protect the bank's reputation
• Evaluate viable resolution options with customers to prevent further delinquency progression
• Escalate high-risk cases to managers for accelerated action when required
• Perform additional customer follow-up actions as directed by the bank from time to time

Legal, Regulatory and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements impacting collections activities
• Adhere to KYC, AML, and CPR requirements at all times when dealing with customers
• Monitor and report any legal or regulatory developments that may impact collections or legal actions
• Ensure adherence to assigned collection targets and budgets
• Maintain nil high-risk audit observations through compliant and controlled operations

Ideal Profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
• Experience in banking collections, recovery, or credit operations preferred
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and communication skills
• Good understanding of collections policies, regulatory compliance, and customer conduct standards
• Ability to manage multiple cases with accuracy and attention to detail
• Results-driven, disciplined, and able to work in a target-oriented environment
