Job Description
Via Medica International Healthcare is seeking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Collections Officer to join our organization.
As a Collections Officer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the collections process to ensure timely payments from customers and clients. You will work closely with the finance and accounts receivable teams to identify overdue accounts, communicate with customers, negotiate payment arrangements, and monitor outstanding balances. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ year of experience as Collections Officer or any related
- Healthcare Background is a plus
- SAP experience is a plus
- Review and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts.
- Create proper communication line with clients via phone, or email correspondence to address outstanding payments.
- Responsible for daily collection of invoices and payments from the clients.
- Provide accurate and timely updates on collection activities and progress to management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and client interactions.
- Collaborate with the finance team and clients to resolve payment discrepancies or disputes.
- Monitor and track payment commitments, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon terms.
- Recommend accounts for further legal action or write-offs as necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.
