About the Opportunity

We are launching an import & export business based in Dubai - a global trading hub that connects East and West. Our focus is on high-demand commodities/products across categories such as

agro-commodities, health & wellness products, textiles, electronics, and industrial materials

. We aim to leverage Dubai's strategic location, trade-friendly regulations, and robust logistics infrastructure to scale globally.

We are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial

Co-Founder

to join us in building and scaling this venture from the ground up.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Co-Founder, your core responsibilities will include:

Strategic & Operational Leadership

Co-develop the company's vision, business model, and go-to-market strategy. Identify high-potential products, supplier markets, and buyer regions. Handle day-to-day operations related to import/export logistics, compliance, and documentation.

Market Development

Build partnerships with suppliers, manufacturers, freight forwarders, and customs agents. Identify potential clients and develop B2B sales pipelines globally. Represent the company at trade expos, business councils, and relevant forums.

Business Development & Growth

Drive lead generation, negotiation, and deal closure with international buyers and sellers. Explore opportunities in government tenders, free zones, and re-export businesses.

Finance & Legal

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and pricing strategies. Ensure compliance with international trade laws, UAE regulations, and customs procedures. Support funding and investment efforts, if required.

Team & Culture

Hire initial team members as needed and build a performance-driven company culture. Create SOPs and workflows for scaling operations efficiently.

Ideal Background

Entrepreneurial mindset

with a strong drive to build and grow a business. Experience in

international trade, supply chain, or B2B sales

. Understanding of

Dubai's import/export regulations, free zones, and customs

is a plus. Strong

networking and negotiation skills

. Prior experience in running or contributing to a startup is desirable.
