We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Turning Machine Operator with strong knowledge of CNC programming. The ideal candidate should have 3-4 years of hands-on experience in operating and programming CNC turning machines, with the ability to independently set up jobs, write or edit programs, and ensure parts are machined to precise tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and set up CNC turning machines based on job requirements.
Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs (G-code) directly on the machine or offline.
Select tools, set tool offsets, and verify program accuracy before running production.
Interpret and work from engineering drawings, technical data, and process sheets.
Perform first-piece inspection and in-process checks using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision instruments.
Maintain dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and quality of machined components.
Troubleshoot machining problems and make necessary adjustments.
Ensure proper machine maintenance and cleaning.
Maintain production records and ensure safe working practices.
