Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled
CNC 5-Axis Turning Operator
to join our manufacturing team. The candidate must be experienced in operating multi-axis CNC turning centers with live tooling and Y-axis.Key Responsibilities:
Operate and set up 5-axis CNC turning centers (e.g., Doosan PUMA 3100LY or similar). Interpret engineering drawings and machine components with close tolerances. Load programs, set tools, and inspect first-off parts. Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary. Conduct routine maintenance and ensure machine cleanliness. Work closely with QC to ensure dimensional accuracy.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience operating 5-axis CNC turning machines. Good understanding of Fanuc or Siemens controllers. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Familiar with measuring instruments like micrometers, Vernier calipers, bore gauges, etc. Knowledge of turning, drilling, grooving, and threading operations.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with live tooling and Y-axis operations. Basic understanding of G-code and M-code. Strong focus on precision and quality. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
