Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and program CNC machines (routers) to cut, shape, and finish wood-based materials for joinery and furniture projects. Create detailed joinery drafts and CNC machine programs using PowerShape, ArtCam, and other relevant software. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure precision in the production of furniture components. Set up and adjust CNC machines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the manufacturing process. Conduct regular machine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure machines are running optimally. Ensure all production work complies with quality standards and project deadlines. Collaborate with designers and production teams to ensure that all joinery and furniture requirements are met. Perform post-production inspections to verify that finished products match specifications. Maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and operational procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience as a CNC Operator, specifically in joinery or furniture production. Strong proficiency in joinery drafting and CNC programming using software such as PowerShape and ArtCam. Solid knowledge of CNC machine operations, including routers, saws, and other related machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints for furniture and joinery projects. Experience with material handling (solid wood, MDF, plywood, etc.) and joinery techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while meeting production deadlines. Previous experience in a similar role within the joinery and furniture industry is a must.
