to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and programming CNC milling machines to produce precision components to exact specifications. This is a hands-on role for someone experienced in both machine operation and CNC programming.
Key Responsibilities CNC Operation
Set up and operate CNC milling machines safely and efficiently.
Load/unload materials and tools, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.
Monitor machine performance during production runs and make necessary adjustments.
Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety guidelines.
Programming
Create and edit CNC programs using G-code and/or CAM software (e.g., Powermill, Mastercam, Fusion 360).
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Determine the best machining strategies, tooling, speeds, and feeds for each job.
Simulate and test toolpaths prior to production to ensure accuracy and avoid machine collisions.
Maintain and update documentation for all programs and machine setups.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a CNC Milling Machine Operator and Programmer.
Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measurement tools.
Strong knowledge of G-code and CAM software.
Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
