Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machine Operator with hands-on experience in 4-axis and 5-axis machining centers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and programming CNC milling machines to produce precision components according to technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate

4-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines

. Interpret and work from engineering drawings, CAD/CAM files, and technical specifications. Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs (using software such as

Mastercam, Siemens, Fanuc, or Heidenhain controls

). Select and install proper tooling, fixtures, and work-holding devices. Monitor machining operations, adjust feeds, speeds, and paths to maintain quality and efficiency. Perform precision measurement and inspection of finished parts using calipers, micrometers, CMM, and gauges. Troubleshoot machining issues, identify errors, and make corrective actions. Maintain machine cleanliness, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance. Work collaboratively with engineers and production teams to ensure accurate and timely job completion. Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards (ISO / AS9100 if applicable).

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum

3-5 years' experience

in CNC milling operations. Strong background in

4-axis and 5-axis CNC machining & programming

. Proficiency in CNC control systems (Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, or equivalent). Hands-on experience with

CAD/CAM software

(e.g., Mastercam, NX, SolidCAM). Strong understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and materials (steel, aluminum, titanium, etc.). Ability to read and interpret

blueprints, GD&T symbols, and technical drawings

. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong commitment to safety, precision, and quality.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in aerospace, automotive, or precision engineering industries. Knowledge of CNC machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices.
