Key Responsibilities -
Operate and monitor Trumpf CNC punching and bending machines as per production schedules.
Set up machines, select programs, and adjust parameters for each job based on technical drawings and specifications.
Ensure correct tooling, dies, and materials are used for each production batch.
Actively participating in preventive maintenance program for machines.
Ensure the third-party certifications for machines in coordination with HSE team.
Produce components within defined tolerances and quality standards and manufacturer guidelines.
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using measuring instruments (vernier callipers, micrometres, etc.).
Identify and report any defects, deviations, or equipment issues to the Production Engineer immediately.
Coordinate with the Production and Assembly teams to ensure timely delivery of fabricated components.
Follow work priorities as assigned by the Production Engineer or Factory In-Charge.
Assist in optimizing material nesting and sheet utilization to minimize waste.
Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and wear always required PPE.
Conduct pre-start machine safety checks and report any hazards or malfunctions.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area and equipment.
Participate in daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
