CNC Machine Operator

specialized in

laser cutting and punching machines

.

Job Responsibilities

Operate and monitor

CNC laser cutting

and

CNC punching machines

used for sheet metal fabrication Set up machines based on production requirements and technical drawings Load/unload sheet metal and other materials into the machines Perform test runs and make necessary adjustments to machine settings Ensure parts are cut or punched accurately, within tolerances and quality standards Conduct regular inspection of finished components using measurement tools (calipers, gauges, etc.) Perform routine maintenance and report malfunctions or issues promptly Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment

Requirements

Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field

2-4 years of hands-on experience

operating CNC

laser cutting

and

punching machines

, preferably in HVAC or sheet metal fabrication Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication layouts Familiar with different types and thicknesses of sheet metal Skilled in using measuring instruments and quality control tools Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to work independently Willingness to work in shifts if required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with

Amada

Trumpf

, or similar CNC machine brands Basic understanding of CNC programming (optional but beneficial) Prior experience in an HVAC manufacturing environment Immediate availability - Visit or Cancelled Visa is preferred
