We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Customer Success Architect – App Innovation focused on helping developers build world class applications taking advantage of Azure/PowerApps with GitHub and Visual studio. As part of this role, you will be responsible for technical customer engagements, working with the most challenging and exciting projects within Microsoft customer base. You will work with select customers to lead deep technical architecture discussions with senior customer executives, Enterprise Architects, IT Management and Developers. You will collaborate with a variety of internal and external teams to develop pilots and oversee implementation projects, ensuring technical blockers are removed on adoption. You will drive technical intensity of developers and create communities within customers. You will collaborate with Product engineering to share feedback into the development of Microsoft products and help develop Azure platform. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Understanding Customer Technical Environment: Identify and evaluate industry trends, and jointly develop technical enablement plan with customer. Maintain technical skills and knowledge of market trends, opportunities, and competitive insights. Provide feedback & insights from customers/partners back to the relevant teams including Product Groups, to enable continuous improvement.

    Understand customers' overall applications portfolio, IT and business priorities and success measures to design and implement architectures and solutions (Microsoft and 3rd party solutions) infusing low code application development mindset.
  • Technical Leadership: Apply Microsoft Power Platform technical knowledge and customer insights to create an application modernization roadmap and rapid applications deployments for our enterprise customers.

  • Architecture Design & Deployment:
    Apply technical knowledge and customer insights to create a Cloud modernization roadmap and facilitate architecting solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical viability of new projects and successful deployments, while orchestrating key resources and infusing key Application Development and DevOps technologies (e.g., App Service, containers, serverless, cloud native, etc.) and Low code development platforms as appropriate.

    Architect Frameworks, reusable components and solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical envisioning and proof of concepts for new projects and successful deployments, infusing key governance and security frameworks (e.g., Centre of excellence (COE), landing zone accelerators and ALM), and Application Development and DevOps technologies (e.g. APIM, Functions, ADO, GitHub etc.)

  • Consumption (Cloud & Support) growth:
    Develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results by working with technical decision makers to ensure they understand Microsoft's Cloud value proposition and get value from their investment in the Microsoft technology. Solution/Offer/Practice Development - Lead execution of architectural engagements, such as Technical Briefings, Proof of Concepts, Architectural Design Sessions, and Hackathons with the goal of defining and bringing new solutions/offers/practice to market. Resolution of Customer Blockers: Identify resolutions to issues blocking go-live of customer success projects by leveraging Microsoft Cloud technical subject matter expertise. Lead the technical conversations with customers to drive value from their MS investments. Deliver all work according to MS best practices & policies and using repeatable IP.
    Lead resiliency reviews, technical optimization to ensure all solutions deployed exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability and increase customer business value. Drives efforts to ensure that the customer's environment and applications are well-architected. Assess the Customers' knowledge of Microsoft Cloud, Power platform and overall cloud readiness to support through a structured learning plan and ensure its delivery · Collaborate with other Cloud Solution Architects and partners in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Cloud platform

  • Trusted Advisor:
    Customer centricity: Develop and expand deep relationships with key customers, Software Engineering and IT decision makers, who drive long-term cloud adoption within their company to enable them to be cloud advocates. Be the voice of the customer. Technical leadership: Assess the Customers' knowledge of Azure platform and overall cloud readiness to support customers through a structured learning plan and ensure its delivery through partners · Collaborate with Cloud Solution Architects in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. Customer Satisfaction: Drive positive Customer Satisfaction, and become a trusted advisor to customers and partners, by leveraging App Innovation Solution area expertise to enable defined Customer Success Plan outcomes.
    As a deep technical advisor, proactively resolve blockers by providing pro-active support as well as technical readiness to customers. Develop deep relationships with key customer IT decision makers, Professional Developers and Citizen Developer teams who drive long-term cloud adoption within their company to enable them to be cloud advocates. Be the Voice of the Customer; Share insights and best practices and connect with Engineering teams to remove key blockers.

  • Technical Thought Leadership:
    Learn It All: Demonstrate Self Learner mindset through continuous alignment of individual skilling to team/area demands and Customer Success goals. Maintain knowledge of market trends and competitive insights; Be a Microsoft Azure evangelist with customers, partners and external communities. Accelerate customer outcomes: Engage in relevant communities to share expertise e.g. (conferences, seminars, technical meetups, Webcasts, blogs, hackathons), contribute to IP creation, prioritize IP reuse and learn from others to help accelerate your customers transformation journey.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or minimum related field AND 10+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting

    10+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
    10+ years experience working on technical projects.
    8+ years of success in either consulting, cloud application architecture and low code no code app delivery required. Strong understanding of low code no code solutions market trends and value proposition. Enterprise-scale technical experience with Microsoft Power Platform, architecture capabilities, implementation requirements, integrations, and future roadmap.
    Plus Professional experience, including 5+ years’ in the following technologies:
    • Cloud application development solutions (e.g., PaaS, Serverless, API Management); Cloud application design, software architecture and practices; (design/development/deployment, Agile, SCRUM, ALM).
    • Experience with scalable architectures using Azure App Service, API management, serverless technologies, container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry etc.), API management, microservice frameworks etc.
      • One or more of the following programming languages: C#, Java, Node.js, JSON, PHP, Perl, Python
      • Experience using integrated development environments (e.g., Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code) targeting public clouds (i.e., Azure, AWS, GCP); Techniques, and Resiliency
        • Additionally, good experience (3-5+ years) in Application Security, GitHub, Databases (SQL, NoSQL)
          • Relationship Building: Proven track record of building deep sales relationships with CXOs and practice building executives in highly strategic ISV (Independent Software Vendor), MSP (Managed Service Provider), and SI (System Integrator) partner types.
            • Collaboration: Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
            • Communication: Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams. Strong presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences at different levels of organizations.
            • Enterprise Application development Knowledge: Experience and understanding of large-scale application portfolios in enterprise-wide environments (including migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud) Required Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following:
            • Deep domain expertise on application development best practices and DevOps, especially as it relates to no-code/low-code development
            • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Power Apps, SharePoint, and Teams
            • Experience in mapping business processes to Power Platform and Azure product capability and solution areas
              • Understanding of application integration technologies is preferred.
              • Certification in the following technologies preferred: Power Platform, i.e., PL-400 (Required) PL – 600 (Recommended) is a plus

                Technical experience
                • Certification in one of the following technologies preferred: Cloud, mobile, web application development, cloud-native application architecture (i.e. containers, microservices, API management), modern software development techniques like DevOps and CI/CD tools (i.e. Azure DevOps, GitHub), container orchestration systems (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, Azure), Low code development platform (PowerApps)
                • Competitive Landscape Understanding: Knowledge of other Low code development platforms - Appian, Pega, Mendix, Google App maker, Salesforce lightning and OutSystems - Preferred
