Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Security Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) to drive customer transformation in our Security Solutions.
The ideal candidate will be able to drive business and technical security architecture discussions with senior customer executives, Enterprise Security Architects, Enterprise Architects, IT Management, and Developers to drive Security as an enabler for Microsoft security platform.

The ideal candidate will be able to drive business and technical security architecture discussions with senior customer executives, Enterprise Security Architects, Enterprise Architects, IT Management, and Developers to drive Security as an enabler for Microsoft security platform.
Understanding Customer/Technical Environment
- Gathers customer/partner insights (e.g., feedback around technical preferences, environments, business needs) and leverages these insights and existing plans to map solutions with customer business outcomes. Learns to adapt business models, plans, and solutions to insights.
- Acts as the voice of the customer (VOC) by driving awareness of existing feedback, gaps, blockers, insights, resources, etc. across communities to track, add, and prioritize, using established channels (e.g., UAT/TFT).
Architecture Design and Deployment
- Leverages an existing architecture approach or reference architecture to propose a solution or achieve Microsoft's agreed commitments to the customer. Assesses customer needs and gathers information that helps others to identify growth opportunities.
- Proposes viable solutions based on specific technical products. demonstrates complex concepts, and proves the capability of those solutions through design collaboration sessions with the customer.
- Applies technical knowledge of architecture solutions to meet business and information technology (IT) requirements and resolve identified technical constraints. shaping and enhancing customers' requirements.
- Supports customer projects as a subject matter expert in a specific architecture solution and throughout pre-sales and/or implementation.
- Identifies technical blockers (e.g., changing configurations, sample coding) for selected products to accelerate architecture implementations and routes non-technical issues for removal by the appropriate party.
- Applies methodology and governance, as directed, to minimize business and technical risks and adhere to quality assurance while contributing to design and/or delivery of solutions (e.g. Well-Architected Framework, Enterprise Scale Landing Zone, Cloud Adoption Framework). Demonstrates an understanding of customer/partner conditions of success.

- Identifies and begins developing impactful relationships with internal teams and customer's technical specialists during initial preparation and ramp-up stages.
- Respectfully challenges customers when going in the wrong direction and escalates appropriately.
- Understands the competitor's architecture solutions and identifies Microsoft's strengths over competitive solutions to demonstrate Microsoft's value to customers.
Thought Leadership
- Shares ideas, insight, and technical input with virtual team members (e.g., Account team, enterprise channel managers, partner development manager [PDMs]) using a working knowledge of specific Microsoft architectures and other relevant products. Actively looks for relevant communities to learn from and contribute to.
- Participates in external architect community events (e.g., conferences, seminars, technical meetups, Webcasts, blogs, hackathons) and shares learnings with the internal team.
Customer Usage
- Participates in discussions around architecture design, resiliency reviews, and technical optimization that result in production deployment application and increase customer business value. Ensures that the customer's environment and applications are well-architected.

Qualifications
- 7+ years’ experience in security technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or cloud/infrastructure technologies
- At least 3+ year experience in one or more of the following:
- Microsoft 365 Security (Microsoft Defender for Office 365; Microsoft Defender for Endpoint; Compliance; Records Management; eDiscovery/Advanced eDiscovery; Data Loss Prevention; Information Governance; Information Protection; Insider Risk Management; Security; Advanced Hunting; Simulation Training; Threat Analytics; Investigations)
- Cloud Security Engineering (Azure Security Infrastructure, Databases, Networking, Virtual Machines; Azure Secrets and Keys; Azure Identity; Troubleshooting of data logging and audit, security monitoring; Azure Governance and Compliance; Microsoft Defender for Identity; Azure Sentinel; Microsoft Client/Server Operating Systems Security, including related services Certificate Authority, authentication/authorization mechanisms, encryption, health attestation; Microsoft Security recommendation experience Securing Privileged Access, Credential Theft Mitigations; Azure Security Services Azure Advanced Threat Protection, Azure Information Protection, Azure Security Center, Azure Log Analytics; Security Threat Landscape experience including advanced attack vectors and tools Pass the Hash, Golden Ticket, ransomware)
- Infrastructure Security (Cloud workload protection; Threat protection, WAF Web Application Firewall, Stateful firewall; Data encryption and protection key services; SIEM, and Cloud Security Analytics; Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response; Security Operation Center; Identity and Access Management)
- Modern Management-Mobility and Security Solutions (Microsoft Intune; Autopilot, Desktop Analytics, Conditional Access, identity governance, Azure Active Directory AAD, Microsoft Cloud App Security; Advanced Threat Analytics; Defender for O365, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager)
- Endpoint Management Security (Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite + Security EMS; Active Directory/Identity; Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection D-ATP; Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection; Other endpoint security solutions and comprehensive threat protection technologies).
