Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated

IT Infrastructure Cloud Engineer

to design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with public cloud platforms, a strong background in networking, systems administration, automation, and a passion for building resilient cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as

VMware Cloud Director

,

AWS

,

Azure

, or

Google Cloud.

Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using tools like

Terraform

. Monitor cloud systems to ensure availability, performance, and security. Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to support cloud-native applications and services. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC). Ensure cloud environments adhere to company security policies and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, SOC2, HIPAA). Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization. Troubleshoot system and network issues across cloud and on-prem hybrid environments. Document infrastructure designs, procedures, and policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

Hands-on experience with

public cloud services

(VMWare Cloud Director, AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong knowledge of

networking

DNS

VPNs

firewalls

, and

load balancers

. Proficient in scripting languages such as

PowerShell

Bash

. Experience with

IaC tools

: Terraform. Familiarity with container technologies:

tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack). Understanding of

and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Strong communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Agile mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

5+ years of experience

in cloud infrastructure engineering or a similar role. Relevant

cloud certifications

Experience with hybrid cloud or migration projects. * Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance (ISO 27001, etc.).
