Job Overview
The IT Infrastructure Cloud Engineer - Dubai, UAE will design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable cloud solutions. The role requires strong expertise in public cloud platforms, networking, automation, and systems administration, ensuring resilient and high-performing cloud environments.
Core Duties

• Design and manage infrastructure on VMware Cloud Director, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform and similar tools
• Monitor cloud systems for availability, security, and performance
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Development teams on cloud-native services
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices
• Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO, SOC2, and HIPAA
• Optimize cloud usage and manage costs effectively
• Troubleshoot network and system issues across hybrid environments
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure designs, policies, and procedures

Required Skills and Experience

• Hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Director, AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong knowledge of DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers
• Proficiency in Bash or PowerShell scripting
• Experience with Terraform and other IaC tools
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and container orchestration platforms
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack
• Understanding of DevOps workflows and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience in cloud infrastructure engineering
• Cloud certifications and hybrid migration experience preferred
