Our client, a leading national oil company, is seeking a Cloud Administrator to support, manage, and optimise its enterprise cloud environment. The role will focus on ensuring secure, resilient, and scalable cloud operations across business-critical applications, trading systems, analytics platforms, and corporate IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, automation, monitoring, and security, with the ability to operate in a complex, high-availability environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, maintain, and optimise cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, or hybrid environments.
Support the deployment, configuration, and monitoring of cloud resources, virtual machines, storage, networking, and databases.
Implement and maintain cloud security controls including IAM, role-based access, policies, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity, proactively identifying issues and driving resolutions.
Manage backups, disaster recovery setups, and cloud failover processes.
Support CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automation initiatives using tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues across cloud services, networks, and integrations.
Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, data, and trading technology teams to deliver stable and secure operations.
Support cloud cost management, optimisation, and reporting.
Document environments, changes, policies, and standard operating procedures.
