To deliver a comprehensive, professional and cost-effective pharmaceutical service to patients and the public in line with patient safety standards and regulatory requirements
Job Responsibilities:
To deliver a comprehensive, professional and cost-effective pharmaceutical service to patients and the public in line with patient safety standards and regulatory requirements
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurate patient billing processes are followed
- Medication stock levels and storage practices are maintained in pharmacies and Wards according to company standards and best practice
- Dispensing of medications with proper labeling and instructions regarding usage, dosage and other relevant information
- Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders; detecting therapeutic incompatibilities.
- Dispenses medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.
- Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies; advising interventions.
- Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' workflow; verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals; verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
- Provides pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals;
- Counseling patients on drug therapies.
