Nauru Medical Centre is seeking an experienced and passionate
Clinical Instructor
to join our healthcare team. The Clinical Instructor will be responsible for training, mentoring, and guiding nursing and clinical staff to ensure the highest standards of patient care and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, and deliver
clinical training programs
for nursing and allied health staff.
Provide
bedside teaching, skills demonstrations, and mentorship
to staff and trainees.
Assess staff competencies and provide feedback for improvement.
Ensure all training aligns with
hospital policies, procedures, and accreditation standards
.
Support continuous professional development (CPD) initiatives within the hospital.
Collaborate with department heads to identify
training needs and skill gaps
.
Maintain accurate training records and prepare reports for hospital management.
Promote a culture of
patient safety, evidence-based practice, and quality care
.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Allied Health (Master's preferred).
Current professional license/registration.
Minimum
5 years of clinical experience
in a hospital setting, with at least
2 years in teaching, training, or mentorship
.
Strong knowledge of nursing education, clinical practice, and quality standards.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Experience in international or multicultural healthcare settings preferred.
