Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Ophthalmologist to:

Diagnose and treat eye diseases and visual disorders. Perform surgeries, including cataract and glaucoma procedures. Provide general and specialist eye care services. Train and support local health staff in eye care practices. Help establish sustainable vision care programs.

Requirements:

Medical degree with specialization in Ophthalmology. Valid medical license and board certification. Minimum 2-5 years of post-residency experience preferred. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in diverse cultural settings. Willingness to relocate to Nauru for a minimum 3-12 months contract (renewable).
