Reporting to the Office Manager, the Clinic Coordinator is responsible for providing non-clinical support and coordination related to patients care including but not limited to scheduling and following up on appointments and communicating with patients/guests and their families to provide detailed instructions and directions regarding their medical visits in collaboration with the unit\xe2\x80\x99s caregivers in line with MH\xe2\x80\x99s policies, procedures and protocols.
Responsibilities
Pro-actively participates in collaboration with the Line Manager to meet the division\'s strategic and operational goals.
Adheres to the division\'s policies, procedures and standards while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory bodies.
Provides recommendations towards improving the division\'s policies and procedures wherever applicable.
Contributes towards an innovative culture of continuous improvement for enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Participates in meetings and maintains professionalism and confidentiality as per the organization\'s standard code of conduct.
Timely completion of personal performance evaluation cycle.
Coordinates and schedules patients and guests visits and ensures follow up appointments are made when necessary.
Reviews the daily schedule of the function\xe2\x80\x99s medical caregivers to maximize and manage allocated appointment slots.
Liaises with the relevant internal and external stakeholders regarding hospital reservations, updates patient admission information and cancels/reschedules appointments when needed.
Handles incoming/outgoing correspondence and responds to emails and queries.
Communicates and coordinates with the relevant internal teams to facilitate and expedite the patient/guest admission process when applicable.
Communicates with patients/guests and their families to provide detailed instructions and directions regarding their medical visits in collaboration with the unit\xe2\x80\x99s caregivers.
Reviews all patients related tests to ensure completeness and liaises with medical teams in case of any issues.
Develops educational materials in collaboration with the line manager and relevant caregivers.
Actively participates in organizational training programs and on the job learning to continuously learn and enhance skillset required to perform the job.
Communicates effectively with team members and maintains good interfunctional liaison to ensure smooth implementation of operational activities.

Vocational / Technical education
Experience:
2+ years of similar experience
Job Specific Skills and Abilities:
Strong organization skills and an understanding of medical terminology
Ability to communicate and relay messages to patients in a culturally sensitive manner
