Report to the site Facilities Manager (FM) on all operational and administrative needs of the staff of his/her area of responsibility
Responsible to see that all site staff understood and adhere to site policies and procedures
Plan and execute site visit schedules on a regular basis. Submit site reports to FM on daily basis
Provide feedback to the staff on the issues raised by them and by management, occupants or client
Ensure adequate staff coverage for the departments operations allowing for work requirements, priorities, sick leave, vacation, fiscal resources and labour standards according to contract staffing and scheduling policies
Ensure that the staff is adhering to proper dress codes, understand the scope of work, documents recorded correctly and that the mechanical equipment is operated and maintained safely
Imparts requisite training when required while visiting the site to the staff on modern janitorial methods, materials and equipments, principals of sanitation and safety
Training staff on all site custodial procedures
Interviewing all new custodial staff and providing FM with staff evaluation reports
Check that the company assets are preserved and not misused
Supervise the physical security of sites, systems, fire safety maintenance of grounds and to take the necessary action to rectify the deficiencies
Assist for the selection, orientation, appraisal, discipline, promotion, demotion and discharge of designated custodial staff according to department and company policies
Responsible to monitor, identify and eliminate potential safety hazards
Liaison between the principal, educational staff, general public and site based custodial staff
Accountable to control the custodial budget, ordering and inventory of supplies
Follows and accomplish any other related work given to him/her from time to time
Conducts TBT meetings given topics by HSE department on monthly basis
Check that the scopes of work is followed by site staff and any anomalies are reported to FM promptly
Assume the responsibilities of other supervisors and other senior staff when latter is absent
Tendering new projects and creating budget forecasts
Organising manpower fittings for the new projects
Preparing consumables, equipment and machineries expenditures for the new projects
Preparing weekly, monthly cleaning reports
Preparing cleaning checklists
Checking and confirming staff attendances by signing attendance sheets on daily basis
- Candidates must be BICs certified
