Civil Team Leader with Driving License
Job Title: Civil Team Leader (with Driving License)
Department: Civil / Maintenance
Reporting To: Civil Engineer / Project Manager
Job Purpose:
To lead a team of civil workers and technicians in performing construction, maintenance, and repair tasks on infrastructure and building exteriors. A driving license is essential for transporting the team, tools, and materials to various job sites.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of civil laborers and technicians on daily tasks.
• Plan and assign work duties, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of projects.
• Read and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications to guide the team's work.
• Oversee and perform tasks such as concrete work, masonry, paving, fencing, drainage works, and minor structural repairs.
• Operate and ensure the safe operation of light machinery and vehicles (e.g., vans, trucks, vibratory plates).
• Transport crew, tools, and materials safely to and from job sites.
• Enforce strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policies on site.
• Monitor work quality and ensure it meets established standards.
• Complete daily reports, timesheets, and maintain records of work progress.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Significant experience in civil construction or maintenance work.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
• Valid driver's license (often a heavy vehicle license is preferred or required).

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of civil work practices and materials.
• Ability to read technical drawings and plans.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily outdoors on construction or maintenance sites.
