We are looking for an experienced and detail-driven
Civil Quantity Surveyor
to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The candidate will be responsible for managing all cost-related aspects of civil construction projects, from initial estimates to final accounts, ensuring value for money while meeting quality and legal standards.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review
BOQs
,cost estimates
, andtender documents
. Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations. Conductcost analysis
,value engineering
, andrisk assessments
. Monitor project costs, track variations, and maintain cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Prepareinterim payment applications
,final accounts
, andclaims
. Work closely with site engineers, project managers, and procurement teams. Review contracts, identify contractual obligations, and ensure compliance. Assist in procurement planning and material take-offs. Prepare project cash flows and budgeting reports. Handle post-contract activities including valuation of work done and change order management.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in
Civil Engineering
orQuantity Surveying
. Minimum5-8 years
of relevant experience incivil construction projects
in the UAE or GCC. Strong understanding ofFIDIC
and other standard contract conditions. Proficient inAutoCAD
,MS Excel
, andQuantity Surveying software
(e.g., CostX, PlanSwift, Candy). Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Familiarity with local regulations, construction methods, and materials. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
