We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced

Civil QC Inspector

to oversee the quality control and inspection of civil works across ongoing construction projects. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that all civil construction activities comply with project specifications, applicable international standards ( ASTM, ACI, BS/EN), and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform inspections on civil construction activities including concrete, rebar, formwork, backfilling, asphalt, and structural steel. Verify construction work against approved drawings, ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), and relevant standards (ASTM, ACI, BS/EN). Review and verify material certificates, test results, and other quality documentation. Conduct site inspections for excavation, foundation works, slabs, and various structural components. Prepare inspection reports, maintain RFI logs, and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where necessary. Liaise with site construction teams and third-party inspectors to address and resolve quality-related issues. Monitor and report on non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions. Ensure adherence to HSE protocols during quality inspections.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil quality control and inspection. Strong understanding of international civil engineering codes and standards (e.g., ACI, ASTM, BS, ISO). Prior approval from regulatory authorities or clients is an advantage. Experience in oil & gas, infrastructure, or industrial construction projects is preferred. Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
