Experience - Civil QC Inspector

Summary:
Experienced and detail-oriented Civil QC Inspector with 2-3 years of UAE-based experience in civil construction projects, particularly within the Oil and Gas sector. Skilled in implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections, and ensuring full compliance with project specifications, international standards, and local regulations. Adept at coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to maintain quality, safety, and efficiency across all stages of construction.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducted quality inspections and site checks for civil construction works including excavation, concrete works, rebar installation, formwork, structural steel, earthworks, and finishing activities. Ensured all works complied with approved drawings, project specifications, and relevant standards (ASTM, ACI, BS, etc.). Monitored and verified materials quality by reviewing laboratory test results for soil compaction, concrete compressive strength, and aggregate grading. Implemented and followed Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and verified construction methods against approved procedures. Identified, documented, and tracked non-conformities (NCRs), issued corrective actions, and verified proper closure after rectification. Coordinated with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to resolve quality-related concerns and maintain consistent standards across the project. Prepared and maintained inspection reports, checklists, and test result records in accordance with company QA/QC procedures. Ensured strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies during all inspection activities. Provided technical support and quality-related guidance to the site team for proper execution of civil works. Stayed updated with UAE construction standards, authority requirements, and advancements in quality control methodologies.
