Join to apply for the Civil Planning Engineer _ Antwerp, Belgium role at SITEC QUALITY GROUP Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and experienced Civil Planning Engineer to support the planning and scheduling of civil works for a greenfield petrochemical plant project. The candidate will develop detailed construction schedules, monitor progress, and ensure civil activities align with overall project goals. A strong background in civil engineering, construction planning, and Primavera P6 is essential. Proficiency in English is mandatory. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain detailed Level 3/4 schedules for civil engineering and construction activities. Collaborate with design, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to integrate civil works into the master schedule. Monitor progress, identify delays, and implement recovery plans. Establish progress measurement systems specific to civil works, in coordination with project controls. Analyze construction sequences and propose optimizations. Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for timely delivery of materials and services. Provide regular schedule updates to the Planning Manager and stakeholders. Identify scheduling risks and suggest mitigations for strategic decision-making. Participate in coordination meetings, providing insights on schedule impacts. Ensure compliance with project standards and HSE requirements. Qualifications BacheloraEUR(TM)s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. At least 5 years of experience in construction planning, preferably on large industrial or petrochemical projects. Expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project. Understanding of civil construction methodologies and workflows. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Fluent in English (spoken and written). Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications MasteraEUR(TM)s degree in Engineering or Project Management. Certification in Primavera P6 or similar tools. Experience on greenfield petrochemical or industrial projects. Knowledge of earned value management and KPIs. Seniority Level
