Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Planning Engineer to join our client's team in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Scheduling:
- Develop and manage project schedules, including critical path analysis and resource allocation.
- Ensure that project schedules are aligned with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
2. Planning and Coordination:
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure that project activities are planned and executed according to schedule.
- Identify and mitigate potential schedule risks and delays.
3. Progress Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor and report on project progress, including schedule performance and milestone achievement.
- Provide regular updates to project stakeholders on schedule status and progress.
4. Schedule Development and Maintenance:
- Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard software (e.g., Primavera P6).
- Ensure that project schedules are regularly updated and reflect changes to project scope, timeline, or resources.
Requirements:
1. Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Proven experience in developing and managing project schedules using industry-standard software.
3. Certifications:
- Planning and scheduling certifications (e.g., PMI-SP) are an advantage.
4. Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of project planning and scheduling principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary: AED AED 6,000-AED 8,000 + Food + accommodation + Trans + standard benefits as per UAE law
