Role Overview

Four Square Steel Construction Contracting LLC is seeking an experienced

Footing Mason

who specializes in footing works for steel building foundations. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in foundation preparation, setting levels, concrete pouring, and ensuring accurate alignment according to engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities

Perform excavation preparation and assist in setting out footing locations. Construct footing forms and prepare the base as per project specifications. Execute all footing-related masonry works such as concrete levelling, compaction, and shuttering support. Work with steel reinforcement teams to ensure proper placement of rebar before concrete pouring. Mix, pour, and finish concrete for footings with precise levels and alignment. Ensure all footing works comply with engineering drawings and quality standards. Measure and mark layout lines, levels, and depths using tools such as laser level, spirit level, and measuring tape. Backfilling and compacting around footings post-concrete curing when required. Assist in foundation slab preparation if needed. Maintain all tools and equipment in good working condition. Follow site safety rules, use PPE, and adhere to company HSE guidelines. Report progress, site issues, and material needs to the site supervisor or engineer.

Requirements

Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a Footing Mason in UAE or GCC (mandatory). Strong understanding of foundation and footing construction. Knowledge in reading levels, alignment, and basic drawings. Experience in concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing for footing works. Physically fit and able to perform heavy-duty site tasks. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Immediate joining preferred.
