Job Objective:
To support the safe and compliant execution of civil engineering tasks on-site, in alignment with project plans and
EWMS (English Work Management System)
guidelines. The role ensures quality, safety, and timely delivery of civil works.Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the supervision and execution of civil work activities (e.g., excavation, formwork, concreting, steel fixing). Follow and implement
EWMS protocols
, including safety assessments, JSAs, and daily briefings. Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and method statements. Ensure work is completed in compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Participate in toolbox talks and promote safe work practices. Report daily site progress, manpower, and materials used to the site engineer or manager. Coordinate with subcontractors and HSE personnel for safe task execution. Record and submit inspection reports, RFIs, and red-mark drawings as required. Maintain and submit required site documentation as per company and client protocols.Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Mandatory EWMS Training Certification
(must be valid and from a recognized provider). 2-5 years of experience in civil construction (preferably in the UAE or GCC). Working knowledge of HSE procedures and work permit systems. Basic skills in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project tracking tools. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to project demands.Job Type: Full-time
