to join our contracting team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for civil and fit-out projects, ensuring competitive and profitable tenders.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and material take-offs for civil projects.
Study tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations.
Analyze project risks, cost variations, and value engineering options.
Assist in tender submission, clarifications, and negotiations.
Maintain estimation databases and cost records.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams.
Monitor market rates for materials and labor.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
3-5 years of experience as a Civil Estimator in a contracting company.
Strong knowledge of civil construction, fit-out works, and UAE market rates.
Proficiency in estimation software, Excel, and AutoCAD.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications accurately.
Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in UAE tendering procedures.
Knowledge of FIDIC contracts.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
