We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Civil Estimator

to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of proven experience in the construction industry and a strong background in preparing accurate cost estimates for civil and infrastructure projects. This role is critical to our project bidding process and requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and commercial awareness.

?Key Responsibilities:

?Tendering & Bidding:

o ?Prepare and submit comprehensive, competitive, and accurate cost estimates and proposals for civil, Fit- out and infrastructure projects.

o ?Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work to fully understand project requirements.

o ?Identify potential risks, opportunities, and cost-saving alternatives during the bidding process.

?Quantity Surveying & Cost Analysis:

o ?Perform detailed Quantity Take-Off (QTO) for all civil works, including earthworks, concrete, structural steel, paving, and utilities.

o ?Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of unit rates for various materials, labor, and equipment.

o ?Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and pricing schedules.

?Project Collaboration & Management:

o ?Participate in bid clarification meetings and client negotiations.

o ?Prepare pre-contract documents, including project budgets and cash flow projections.

?Reporting & Documentation:

o ?Maintain accurate and organized records of all project estimates, including assumptions, methodologies, and final tender submissions.

o ?Prepare detailed reports for management on bid outcomes, market trends, and cost benchmarks.

?Qualifications & Requirements:

?Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.

?Technical Skills:

o ?Proven expertise in Quantity Take-Off (QTO) and cost estimation for civil works.

o ?Proficiency in estimation software's.

o ?Solid understanding of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC), tender procedures, and local market pricing.

o ?Experience with different types of contracts, including lump-sum, unit-rate, and design-and-build.

?Soft Skills:

o ?Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

o ?Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

?Other:

o ?A valid UAE driving license is a plus.

o ?Candidates with a strong network of subcontractors and suppliers in Abu Dhabi will be highly regarded.
