Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure projects. These may include roads, railways, airports, bridges, harbors, dams, irrigation projects, power plants, and water and sewerage systems. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker with a strong grasp of engineering principles and a commitment to sustainability and public safety.
Key Responsibilities

• Design & Analysis: Develop detailed designs, plans, and specifications for civil engineering projects using computer-aided design (CAD) and BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation).
• Project Management: Prepare project budgets, schedules, and resource plans. Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines and budgetary constraints are met.
• Site Investigation: Conduct and analyze the results of on-site soil, materials, and topographic surveys.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and building codes. Prepare and obtain necessary permits from regulatory agencies.
• Consultation & Collaboration: Liaise with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other engineers (e.g., mechanical, electrical) to ensure project goals are achieved.
• Report Writing: Prepare detailed reports, feasibility studies, and cost-analysis documents for clients and stakeholders.
• Construction Oversight: Provide technical advice to construction teams, review work on-site for compliance with design documents, and help resolve design and construction problems.
• Sustainability & Safety: Incorporate environmentally sound and sustainable practices into designs. Prioritize public health and safety in all aspects of planning and design.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited institution.
• E.I.T. (Engineer in Training) or E.I. (Engineering Intern) certification is required; Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is highly preferred or willingness to obtain it.
• Proven experience (typically 2-5 years for mid-level, specified if entry-level or senior) in civil engineering, including internship or co-op experience.
• Proficiency with industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, GIS, HEC-RAS, HydraFlow, StormCAD, SAP2000).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to write clear technical reports and present complex information effectively.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Experience in [mention specific area, e.g., water resources, structural, geotechnical, transportation].
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).

• Ability to visit construction sites, which may involve walking on uneven terrain, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
