We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our construction and engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring structural integrity, safety compliance, and cost-effectiveness. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed civil engineering designs and project plans in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct feasibility studies, site inspections, and structural assessments for new and ongoing projects.
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for infrastructure and building projects.
Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and surveyors to ensure seamless project execution.
Monitor project progress, manage resources, and resolve technical challenges promptly.
Perform structural analysis and recommend improvements to enhance durability and efficiency.
Prepare and review documentation, reports, and project proposals for management and clients.
Ensure environmental sustainability and compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project staff.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience (3-5+ years) in civil engineering and construction project management.
Proficiency in design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Civil 3D).
Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, materials, and construction methodologies.
Familiarity with relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Excellent project management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills for coordinating with teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, drainage, utilities).
Knowledge of geotechnical engineering and surveying techniques.
Certification in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent is a plus.
