Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Civil Engineering Faculty member with expertise in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying (QS), and Facade Engineering. The ideal candidate will have practical industry experience, a passion for teaching, and a strong commitment to student development. This role involves developing and delivering courses at undergraduate and graduate levels, with a focus on both theoretical knowledge and real-world applications in civil engineering, cost estimation, and facade design.

Location: Al Qusais, Dubai

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development & Delivery: Design, develop, and deliver high-quality instructional content for civil engineering, quantity surveying, and facade engineering courses. Prepare and update syllabi, course materials, and lesson plans in line with current industry standards. Utilize a blend of lectures, hands-on labs, and project-based learning to enhance student engagement. Student Mentorship & Assessment: Mentor students to support their academic, professional, and personal growth. Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and constructive feedback. Research & Industry Engagement: Conduct and publish research in civil engineering, facade systems, sustainable materials, or QS methodologies. Stay updated with emerging trends in civil engineering, facade innovations, and QS tools. Participate in professional development to integrate the latest industry practices into teaching.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Facade Engineering, or a related field. Experience:

3-5 years of teaching experience in higher education or industry experience in civil engineering, QS, or facade projects.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, CostX, ETABS, or similar). Preferred Attributes: Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to bridge theory and practice in an academic setting. Research experience or industry publications (a plus).

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
