Authority Engineer (Civil Engineering) - Abu Dhabi Regulations

We are seeking a highly experienced Authority Engineer to oversee civil engineering projects in compliance with Abu Dhabi regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of local authority requirements, safety standards, and systems governing civil construction projects in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities:

Review, approve, and ensure compliance of civil engineering designs and construction activities with Abu Dhabi regulations and authority standards. Act as a liaison between project teams, government authorities, and stakeholders to facilitate permitting and approval processes. Prepare and submit technical documentation, reports, and applications required by Abu Dhabi authorities (TAMM, MEPS, TAQA, ITC, Main developers -Masdar/Miral/Al-DAR/..-). Provide expert advice on compliance issues, system integration, and regulatory updates. Collaborate with site and engineering teams to implement standards and regulations in project planning and execution. Coordinate with relevant authorities for approvals and license renewals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. 10-15 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on regulatory compliance and authority requirements. Extensive knowledge of Abu Dhabi construction regulations, codes, and systems , permits , TAMM, MEPS, TAQA, developer approvals, Masdar, Miral, Al-DAR. Proven experience in managing approvals and authority inspections. Strong understanding of safety standards, environmental regulations, and project management. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Professional registration/license in civil engineering is preferred.
