We are seeking a qualified and experienced Authority Liaison Architect to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience working with Dubai's architectural regulations, authority approvals, and design compliance processes.
You will be responsible for managing end-to-end submissions to local authorities including Dubai Municipality (DM), Dubai South, Trakhees, DDA, RTA, Civil Defense, and DEWA, while coordinating closely with internal design teams to ensure all documentation complies with current codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage authority submissions and permit approvals with all major Dubai regulatory bodies.
Ensure architectural and MEP drawings are fully compliant with local codes and guidelines.
Prepare and compile complete regulatory documentation packages.
Coordinate with internal multidisciplinary teams (Architectural, Structural, MEP) for timely submissions.
Address authority comments and follow through to secure necessary approvals.
Maintain strong working relationships with authority representatives and stay up-to-date with regulatory updates.
Track submission timelines and report status to project managers and stakeholders.
Prepare and submit drawings, NOCs, and documentation as per the authority requirements.
Track and follow up on all submissions to ensure timely approvals.
Coordinate with internal design and engineering teams to align project documentation with authority standards.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of authority regulations, procedures, and updates.
Resolve authority comments and ensure compliance with technical and regulatory standards.
Maintain a tracking system for submissions, approvals, and permit statuses.
Attend meetings and site inspections with authorities as required.
Provide technical support to project managers regarding authority-related matters.
Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Dubai handling architectural authority submissions.
Strong knowledge of Dubai's regulatory framework and building codes.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office tools.
Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple authority processes simultaneously.
